Find my AirPods
With “Find My AirPods” feature, you will not have to worry about accidentally losing your wireless headset. You will see a new tab for AirPod as soon as you open the Find my iPhone app. By tapping the button in the application, it will emit a sound on the AirPods for you to recognize. However, it only works if AirPods are connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth.
Siri can learn that Cricket (A Sport is played in many Countries across the globe)
Cricket is a popular sport and is played in many countries around the world. Now, Siri can learn how to tell scores for Cricket matches. If you are interested, you can ask Siri "What is the score for the last cricket match?”. And you will get the answer from Siri. Siri can also tell you the scores for the champions and the World Cup. A new feature of Siri in this update is that you can schedule Uber trips hours in advance and pay bills by Siri.
Redesigned Settings Page and New Profile Section
You will see your own profile icon and name at the top as soon as you open the Setting app. When you tap here, you can access to all of your Apple ID, iCloud, iTunes and App Store details. Now, if there are any important notifications relating to your Apple account, you can see it below. For example, the iCloud page will have a new storage bar at the top, making it easier to visualize what you have uploaded. When you scroll down, you will see a list of all the devices connected to your iCloud account.
Maps App Changes
First off, you no longer get the 3D spinning globe view when you zoom all the way out in the satellite view. A flat earth view will then appear.
You will see a little weather icon in the bottom-right with the current temperature when you search for a city or an area. If you own an iPhone 6s or above, you can use 3D Touch to bring up an hourly forecast as well as see the city’s detailed weather forecast in the Weather app.
From the shortcuts in the Control Center panel, you’ll be able to dim light switches directly.
